Education and Work

I was born and raised in central Michigan, where I learned how to draw and sew and paint but not how to parallel park. After a couple years at CMU, I relocated to Tampa, FL where I attended IADT’s fashion program. I received my BFA there. I’ve worn a lot of different hats since then, working in art departments, in brand licensing, as a designer’s assistant, and developing my own handmade business. I am never ever bored.

Things That I Do

I was raised drawing and painting, moved on to sewing and designing, and have even picked up fiber arts like crochet and knitting. I am a mechanically inclined individual who can draw, build, stitch, or bake myself out of just about any problem. Can I make it? Yes I can. I also like watching horror movies and period dramas, driving around while listening to music, or listening to audiobooks anytime.

Things That I Like

I use and recommend Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Procreate for the iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil 2, and Juki TL-2010, Juki MO-1000 and Juki HZL-DX9 sewing machines. I also like cats, sandwiches, robots, and outer space.
